Since 1998, GK has been awarding the Mavis Hawthorne Memorial Scholarship to a college bound high school senior. In 2005 Gk awarded the first Golden Krust/Bronx Community College Foundation Scholarship. These scholarships and other education programs will now be administered by the Mavis & Ephraim Hawthorne Foundation
